Is this the iso you really should have to hand?

Again, grabs from a virtual machine.
I'm getting quite used to booting iso's from it now and it saves on CDs!

What a gorgeous backdrop!
Nice layout and simple to use.
The all powerful linux gets a really nice makeover in this distro.
The distro is designed for the main purpose of checking drives and partitions,
allowing you to do most anything with them.
Parted is the tool on linux for partitioning drives.

The distro comes in around 86mb, so is a breeze to download.
The start screen shows the many options to get it up and running.
Once it is, simply start your network and we can see what else it has besides
Parted.

The version I used for this is 3.6, and this has been superseded by 3.7.
I found this incredibly easy to use.
As I said above, the layout is clean and uncluttered.
I booted the daughter's old computer from this (I burnt it to mini CD), and
deleted the linux partition on it,
resized the slave to one partition instead of 3
and reformatted it to NTFS in a couple of minutes.
It really is that easy to use!

It also comes with comprehensive documentation.
Tools like HDparm are included (tune up your drive).

Here's the menu for the tools section.
I haven't mentioned how many different filesystems that this accommodates.
Suffice to say, you'll be pushed to find one in common use that it doesn't
support.
The distro can be made to boot from a usb memory stick, can be remastered,
can check disk structures etc. etc.
It also includes Firefox and an FTP program.
It doesn't match the Hirens boot disk for rescue programs, but its not intended
to.
I could also mention that all software on this disk is free, unlike Hirens.
I believe everyone should keep a copy of this handy.
It is an exceptionally well made little distro that packs a big punch.
You never know when it may come in useful.
